One or several, and whether a person can win more than once.
Live and visual, ready to share on a call or a stream.
Picking a raffle or giveaway winner in front of an audience needs more than a random number: it needs something people can watch, a moment of suspense before the name is revealed. This tool draws an actual spinning wheel with a segment for every participant, spins it with real randomness, and lands on a winner the same way a physical prize wheel would, so it works for a live stream, a video call, a classroom or a stage.
Paste your list of participants, one name per line. Each different name becomes a slice of the wheel, and writing the same name more than once makes that slice bigger (the wheel shows it as, for example, "Ana ×3"), so it has proportionally more chance of winning, useful for giveaways where some entries earned extra tickets. Choose how many winners you need, from one to twenty, and whether someone who already won should be taken out of the wheel for the rest of the draw, which is the usual rule for a giveaway with several different prizes.
The winning slice is chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts spinning, and the spin animation simply reveals that already-chosen result, the same way a physical wheel's outcome is fixed once it starts to slow down. Nothing is decided after the fact to match where the wheel happens to stop.
Each winner gets a small confetti burst and is added to a running list you can copy at the end. If you need several winners, keep spinning until you have them all; with repeats turned off, each spin removes the previous winner from the wheel so the odds update correctly for everyone left. The animation respects your system's reduced motion setting and reveals the result instantly if you have that turned on.
The wheel groups repeated names into a single, bigger slice, so every different name keeps a readable label as long as there are up to 40 different names; beyond that it still spins and picks fairly, just without readable names on each thin slice. Nothing you type is uploaded or sent anywhere: the whole draw runs in your browser. To generate a random list of fake names for testing instead of a real draw, see the test data generator.
