What you can do here

Developers reach for the same small utilities dozens of times a week: pretty-print a JSON response, decode a JWT, build a hash, check a regex or turn a CSV into JSON. These tools do those jobs instantly, without an install, an account or an ad-laden page, and without sending your data anywhere.

That last point matters more than it seems: pasting tokens, API responses and internal data into an online tool is a real leak risk when the site processes it on a server. Here, the processing happens in your browser, so you can use the tools with real data, though it is still wise to prefer test credentials.

  • Format and validate: JSON, XML, SQL and .env files, with clear error messages.
  • Encode and decode: Base64, URLs, HTML entities and JWTs.
  • Generate: hashes (MD5, SHA-256), UUIDs, passwords, random strings, cron expressions and test data.
  • Convert: JSON and CSV, JSON and YAML, timestamps, colours and MIME types.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools safe for tokens and API data?
The data is processed in your browser and never sent to a server. Even so, prefer test credentials, and rotate a secret if you pasted it somewhere you do not fully trust.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser, and after the first visit most tools keep working offline.
Are the generators cryptographically secure?
Passwords, UUIDs and random strings use the browser's secure random generator, not Math.random.
Can I use the output in production?
Yes. The tools use standard formats and algorithms, but always test the result in your own environment.
Is there an API?
No. UtilsDock is a set of browser tools; nothing is processed on a server, so there is no API.
