Drop your icon artwork
A large square image, ideally 1024×1024 or bigger.
Drop a single square artwork and get back a full set of PNG files at every commonly needed size for iOS, from the App Store listing down to a phone's home screen, and for Android, from the Play Store down to the smallest density.
Gives you the common icon sizes for iOS and Android as plain PNG files. It doesn't generate an Xcode asset catalog (Contents.json) or Android adaptive-icon XML — just import the matching size where your build tool asks for it.
A large square image, ideally 1024×1024 or bigger.
Grouped by iOS and Android.
Every size, named and sorted by platform.
An app icon has to exist at many different pixel sizes: a small one for a home screen, a larger one for a store listing, and several in between for different screen densities. Producing each one by hand in an image editor is tedious and easy to get slightly wrong. This tool takes one square image and renders every common size for both iOS and Android from it in one pass.
For iOS: the 1024×1024 App Store icon plus the iPhone and iPad sizes used on the home screen and in settings. For Android: the 512×512 Play Store icon plus the standard mipmap densities from mdpi up to xxxhdpi. Each file is named after its purpose and size, and grouped by platform inside the downloaded ZIP.
This produces plain PNG files at the right pixel sizes, not a ready-made Xcode asset catalog with its Contents.json, and not Android's adaptive-icon XML with separate foreground and background layers. Drop the matching PNG in wherever your build tool or asset catalog asks for that size.
Start as large as you can, ideally 1024×1024 or bigger, since every size is scaled down from it; scaling a small image up to fill a large icon slot produces a soft, blurry result. A simple, centered design also tends to read better once shrunk down to the smallest sizes.
Every size is generated locally in your browser. Your artwork is never uploaded anywhere.
