Drop your files
In the order you want them numbered, if you use numbering.
Drop your files and build a renaming pattern: add a prefix or suffix, number them in sequence, find and replace part of the name, and change the case. See every new name before you download.
100% private — files are read in your browser and never uploaded.
In the order you want them numbered, if you use numbering.
Prefix, suffix, sequence numbers, find and replace, case.
One file downloads directly, several come as a ZIP.
Photos from a camera named IMG_0001.jpg through IMG_0347.jpg, scanned pages that need to sort correctly, screenshots from a project that all need the same prefix: renaming dozens of files one at a time is slow and easy to get wrong. This tool builds every new name from one pattern and shows you the full result before anything downloads.
Every rule you set updates a live preview list showing the old name struck through and the new name next to it, so you catch a pattern mistake, such as an unwanted extra dash, before downloading dozens of files instead of after.
A pattern that would give two files the same name, for example find and replace stripping the only part that told two files apart, is flagged clearly, and downloading is blocked until it is fixed, so files never silently overwrite one another.
One file downloads directly with its new name. Several files come bundled as a single ZIP archive, already renamed inside, ready to unzip wherever you need them. Nothing is uploaded: renaming happens entirely in your browser. For a simpler accent and symbol cleanup without a full pattern, use clean file names.
